FAQs
How are your knitted accessories made?
All Little Knitted Stars lambswool snoods, scarves, hats and mittens are created on hand powered domestic knitting machines. The patterns are knitted using original punchcard designs and the fabric is then washed and laid out to dry. Hats and mittens are hand stitched together before washing and all fabrics are hand finished.
Where are Little Knitted Stars accessories created?
All Little Knitted Stars products are made in my studio in Manchester UK. The full process from designing, knitting, washing, finishing and packaging takes place here, meaning we have full control over the process from start to finish. Mens knitted snoods, ladies cowls and childrens mittens alike are all hand crafted in the North of England, from British spun Lambswool yarn.
How much do Little Knitted Stars accessories cost?
Prices for adult accessories currently start from approximately £35 for fingerless mittens up to around £70 for a large scarf.
